The Annual General Meeting of the Florence Park Community Association will be held at Florence Park Community Centre on Wednesday, 30th April 2025 at 7.30pm. Please note that anyone can attend, but only members can vote.
Trustees help with the running of the FPCA which is the charity that manages the community centre. if you would like to become a new Trustee please email [email protected].
At the AGM only the Treasurer and Secretary need to be voted in, but we also vote in any trustees who wish to stand. A number of trustees can also be voted onto the committee after the AGM and the Chair is voted for by the Trustees at the first committee meeting after the AGM.
At the AGM our Chair gives a report of the previous year and the accounts are explained by the Treasurer. There will be plenty of time to raise topics members would like to discuss or to ask questions but anyone with a formal resolution should send it to the chair in advance.
Full members get a vote each. Associate members (those who live outside our area of benefit) vote on the evening for 2 of their membership to represent them in the vote.
To join the AGM you must bring along proof of address and we will be able to find your membership details - you can also join on the night by arriving half an hour before the AGM starts
All relevant documents, including the Proxy Form for those who cannot be there in person, can be downloaded below. If you would like to submit a motion, please do so in writing by midnight on Wednesday 9th April (21 clear days before the AGM) by emailing us.
The AGM will be followed by an opportunity to have an informal chat about the association's current work and plans for the future. Refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
